Reproductive Sovereignty Knowledge Share

Sunday, October 9th 1pm - 4pm EST | In-Person + Virtual

A class and discussion about empowerment and sovereignty focusing on the female reproductive system.

Sydney and Meg will teach about the uterine and menstrual cycles, understanding your fertility, relevant herbs, food and lifestyle considerations, and will share resources and facilitate discussion.

Our goal is to share information that participants can customize and integrate into their own lives, with the understanding, trust, and confidence that we each have the right to intimately know ourselves, make informed choices, and be the gatekeepers to our own wellness and pleasure. We will cover:

  • Anatomy & physiology of the female reproductive system

  • How to understand and track your fertility cycles

  • Alternatives to the allopathic model of reproductive care

  • Basics of abortion and birth control access

  • Herbs for reproductive health

  • Implications of strict laws on a state level

  • Resources for health care access, herbs, and further education

This class will take place both virtually and in-person at The Elderberry in Charlottesville, VA. Participants will have access to the recording and will receive a digital PDF.

Exchange is sliding scale $40-$60* and half of the proceeds will go towards the Blue Ridge Abortion Fund.
